RGE 8320 Oral Pathology Seminar II

This course provides a review and update of the local and systemic diseases that affect the oral and maxillofacial tissues. The etiology pathogenesis, clinical and radiographic appearance, treatment and histopathology of these diseases will be discussed. Emphasis will be given to the development of a meaningful clinical differential diagnosis and effective two-way communication between the clinician and oral pathologist. The course objectives rest with the resident’s ability to recognize normal versus abnormal oral conditions in the context of significant, common and unique forms of pathology.
