FLA 117 Operative Dentistry 1
This consists of didactic and clinical instruction in direct and indirect restorative materials as well as soft tissue management for restorative dentistry. Applicable dental materials lectures are also included. Literature review seminars are also conducted to generate discussion about topics that reinforce what was discussed on lecture topics listed above. The residents also get 280 hours of clinic time throughout the two years to improve their operative dentistry skills and to be able to utilize and become familiar with a broad variety of operative dental materials.
