FLA 121 Pediatric Dentistry
The Pediatric Dentistry portion of the 2-year AEGD residency program consists of didactic and clinical instruction in preventive dentistry, restorative dentistry, behavior management, growth and development, and interceptive orthodontics for the child patient. Lecture topics include: Pediatric Examination and Caries Prevention, Restorative Pediatric Dentistry, Primary Pulp Therapy, Behavior Management, Space Maintenance, Nitrous Oxide, Interceptive Orthodontics, Traumatic Dental Injuries, and Pediatric Hospital Dentistry. The curriculum consists of instruction in the clinic and hospital setting.
