FLH 129 Introduction to Clinical Periodontics 1-2
This course provides intense review of clinical periodontal patient management from the fundamentals of treatment planning through basic and advanced non-surgical and surgical techniques. Laboratory sessions include non-surgical therapy, soft tissue management and suturing, and osseous resective surgical techniques. An integral part of the course is instruction in teaching technologies including graphic software for digital and hard copy production of both text and clinical images. In addition, development of lecture skills is emphasized.
