NSO 510 Introduction to Developmental Neurobiology

This course provides an overview of the development of the nervous system with special emphasis on genetic and environmental factors that contribute to maturation of the brain and spinal cord. Each student should understand the contributions that form the basis of the CNS and be aware that although precise patterns are formed during embryogenesis they can be modulated by environmental experience.
