PHRA 1249 Institutional Pharmacy Practice
This course provides an introduction through knowledge-based applications, to the policies and procedures associated with inpatient pharmacy operations in a traditional setting. All aspects of preparation, dispensing, and quality assurance of both sterile and unit dose products are examined. Performance in an inpatient practical laboratory setting will be assessed. The course is designed to prepare the student for the Advanced Inpatient Pharmacy Operations Course.
