NSO 906 Elements of Seminar Presentation
This course will provide instruction to students on preparation and presentation of a seminar talk. Weekly 1-hour meetings will provide instruction to students on the anatomy of a seminar. These include the elements of preparation and presentation. Students will be graded based on a 15-minute presentation based on laboratory work from their 1st or 2nd year at USU. Students will be video-taped and the live seminar and the video product will be graded. Attendance is optional for all second year Neuroscience graduate students, although this class may be taken as an alternative to the required 2nd year Tutorial Course. Grades will be determined by the quality of the 2 presentations, one in class and the other during the NES seminar, and for peer review.
