NURS 8911 Dissertation Seminar
The purpose of this course is to guide doctoral students in the development and defense of the dissertation proposal from understanding the role of the Dissertation Committee and Chair, developing their topic and research design, planning their research methodology, writing their research proposal and draft of their dissertation chapters. This course also offers the development of skills needed for the conduct of the dissertation research project and guidance to successfully defend their dissertation research proposal. Students will prepare assignments and presentations about their research outlining key features for their research proposal and dissertation. This class will also encourage discourse across diverse research projects from students.
