PMO 997 Field Epidemiology
This course uses a series of classroom-based interactive case studies to teach the principles and practice of field epidemiology, focusing on the systematic application of the 10 steps for conducting a field investigation, as articulated in your textbook. Each student will be will be responsible for leading the class through a tabletop outbreak investigation exercise. Following completion of the course, the student should be familiar with the principles of field epidemiology, and should be prepared to apply those principles in addressing real-world public health problems.
