RAD 4100 Diagnostic Radiology
Diagnostic imaging and imaging-guided procedures are an increasingly important and ever evolving set of tools in the management of patients across a wide spectrum of pathological conditions. This rotation is designed to provide medical students with direct exposure to patient care from the perspective of the diagnostic radiologist. Educational activities may vary by site but typically consist of daily observation of imaging interpretations in the reading rooms, interaction with radiology faculty or residents, and educational lectures or multidisciplinary conferences (e.g. tumor boards) to learn the language of radiology.
