RAD 4200 Interventional Radiology

Diagnostic imaging and imaging-guided procedures are an increasingly important and ever evolving set of tools in the management of patients across a wide spectrum of pathological conditions. This rotation is designed to provide medical students with exposure to minimally invasive imaging-guided procedures by our newest/youngest specialty: interventional radiology. Students can observe and participate in the clinical decision process across a range of CT, fluoroscopy, or ultrasound-guided procedures, many of which have come to replace more invasive surgical options.
