SURI 3404 Pharmacology and Diagnostics
This course is designed to teach the principles of pharmacology. It requires students to assess, diagnose, and formulate treatment with prescription medications, drug administration, controlled substances management and dietary supplements. This course also focuses on diagnostic departments within the medical environment. Topics include equipment use and ancillary diagnostic studies performed in the laboratory and radiology departments. Further focus is placed on safety requirements, biohazardous waste program, as well as common findings
seen on x-rays.
