FKA 125 Practice Management

This course consists of monthly one-hour resident presentations on varied clinical topics. These presentations show and describe advanced clinical and/or laboratory procedures that the resident has performed. The intent of these presentations is to share these procedures with other residents while honing the presenter’s public speaking skills. In addition to these presentations, each resident will report their progress in completing their treatment plans for their comprehensive care patients. Additionally, during the second year, general dentistry residents develop their own lecture presentation. The objectives of this experience are to foster an interest in dental education, build advanced computer-generated presentation skills and bolster both self-confidence and public speaking acumen.
