SURI 3506 Clinical Medicine II

This course is designed to teach structural anatomy and functional organization of the cardiac and respiratory systems.  It requires students to assess, diagnose, and formulate treatment plans for pathology of the cardiac and respiratory systems.  Topics include how blood flows through the heart, the phases of the cardiac cycle, how a wave form is created on an electrocardiogram, as well as the relationship between exercise and the heart.
