SURI 3507 Clinical Medicine V

This course is designed to teach the structural anatomy and functional organization of the musculoskeletal, Integumentary, and Endocrine system. It requires students to assess diagnosis and formulate treatment plans for disorders of the Musculoskeletal Integumentary, and Endocrine system systems. Topics include the structural and functional organization of the tissues, the functions of the four types of human tissue, types of connective tissue, and the types of cell membranes. As well as a focus on the organization of the endocrine system, the relationship between the hypothalamus and the pituitary gland, functions of the thyroid, parathyroid, pancreatic islets, and adrenal glands.
