HPE 806 Advanced Principles of Leadership in HPE

This course is designed to help learners further develop their own approach to leadership by engaging with and reflecting on a variety of scholarly leadership resources. The course includes a critique of contemporary theories in leadership and an emphasis on practical leadership problems and potential solutions. Within the course, students will review and critically examine multiple aspects of leadership including its theoretical basis as well as styles, traits, and the unique leadership challenges present in the military health care sector and other medical education leadership contexts.
