HCB 2202 Clinical Diagnostics and Force Health Protection
This course equips military and pre-hospital healthcare providers with the clinical competencies required for diagnostic support, preventative medicine, and patient care in operational and clinic settings. Students will gain proficiency in basic Laboratory (LAB) procedures, including specimen collection and point-of-care diagnostics, alongside mastering Medication Management protocols, pharmacology principles, and safe drug administration. Additionally, the curriculum emphasizes force readiness through Immunizations, training corpsmen in vaccine storage, screening, and mass-vaccination execution to maintain peak military medical readiness.
