FKA 102 Oral Medicine
The internal medicine rotation is a two-week course designed to expose the resident to medical management of patients with complex, chronic disease. The resident is an intern assigned to the chief resident of internal medicine and attending physician. The resident is involved in obtaining a comprehensive medical history, ordering lab and diagnostic tests, and ordering referrals/consults. The resident is expected to apply knowledge from rotation to obtain a comprehensive medical history in a dental outpatient setting.
