FKA 105 Research Project/Thesis
The residents receive 228 hours throughout the two years to prepare the research protocol for presentation to the Dental Research Committee and approval by the Institutional Review Board, collect data in the laboratory or clinic, prepare an abstract and poster for presentation at the International Association of Dental Research, write a final report, complete and defend a research project, and prepare a thesis or a manuscript for publication in a peer-reviewed dental journal.
