NURS 6510 Advanced Diagnosis and Management in Adult Primary Care
This course lays the foundation for advanced practice nurses (APRNs) to care for adult patients in primary care settings. APRN students will use critical-thinking skills to apply evidence-based practice to provide holistic family- and patient-centered care. Emphasis is placed on promoting health and wellness as students develop plans of care for adult patients across the spectrum of health, acute and chronic illness. Operational readiness and special considerations for adult patients in deployed, humanitarian and austere conditions are examined.
