NURS 5405 Operational Readiness: Transitions of Care
This unique clinical rotation aims to build upon prior course work in trauma and en route care to further prepare APRN students for roles in austere environments. Students will gain insight into en route care and the Joint Trauma System, working with the Trauma Program Manager for three combatant commands. They will also explore new concepts in combat casualty care, inter and intra-theater patient movement, care coordination, operational virtual health, and leadership.
