Through lectures, labs, and field exercises, participants study threat agents, pathophysiology, and exposure treatment. Field exercises emphasize personal protection, triage, treatment, and decontamination, including MOPP gear use in contaminated areas. Jointly conducted by USAMRIID and USAMRICD, this six-day course prepares medical professionals to manage chemical and biological casualties in diverse settings, meeting federal and military health system needs.
