HCB 2402 Advanced Trauma and Respiratory Interventions
This course trains military and pre-hospital healthcare providers in critical, life-saving interventions required to manage severe trauma and respiratory emergencies in operational and clinical environments. Students will master the rapid control of Massive Hemorrhage using advanced tourniquet application, hemostatic agents, and wound-packing techniques. Additionally, the curriculum provides hands-on proficiency in Airway Management and Respiratory Management, equipping corpsmen to secure compromised airways, treat open chest wounds, and perform needle decompressions to stabilize critically injured personnel.
