NURS 8815 Philosophy of Science
This core course prepares PhD students to systematically analyze and evaluate a variety of perspectives in philosophy of science through the study and exploration of epistemology, metaphysics, the scientific method, and the foundations of modern science. We examine the evolution and attributes of major approaches in the philosophy of science, and situate these issues in a healthcare and nursing science context.
