NURS 8903 Dissertation Defense
Writing, submitting, and defending the dissertation are among the final steps leading to the conferral of the Ph.D. degree. During this course, and with guidance from the Dissertation Chair and committee, candidates will be fully engaged in relevant scholarly activities associated with their dissertation research, leading up to the dissertation defense. At the Daniel K. Inouye Graduate School of Nursing at Uniformed Services University, candidates present and defend their dissertation publicly, make all recommended edits, and with the approval of the dissertation committee, submit the final dissertation to the Graduate School.
