NURS 5131 Inquiry into Statistical Methods, Evidence Based Practice and Scholarship
This prepares students to perform literature searches, appraise research, synthesize evidence, understand Evidence Based Practice (EBP) models, and identify and evaluate outcomes. They will learn to determine the effectiveness of interventions through statistical tests and apply these skills to create a DNP project that supports the Defense Health Agency (DHAs) Quadruple Aims of better readiness, health, care, and cost savings. At the end of the course students will be expected to draft the background and data analysis sections of their Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) project.
