NURS 5400 Operational Readiness: Dive Medicine and Water Rescue
Students will receive advanced operational readiness content and skills related to water rescue, high angle extraction from the maritime environment, underwater diving operations, hyperbaric medicine, prolonged maritime field care, treatment of traumatic and neurologic injuries, first aid, and develop self-awareness of types of stressors in an austere maritime environment. Students will receive certifications in basic and advanced open-water diving and water rescue.
