NURS 5133 Trauma & Combat Casualty Care
This course develops the clinical assessment, diagnosis, and intervention skills of APRN students to prepare them to care for trauma and combat casualties in far forward deployed, austere, and humanitarian settings. Students are taught to use advanced diagnostic tools and apply concepts of assessment, management, resuscitation, stabilization and evacuation of trauma and combat casualties. Leadership of inter-professional teams is emphasized.
