DLBT 2503 Removable Partial Denture Techniques
This course provides fundamental didactic and practical engagement in the fabrication of removable partial dentures (RPD). Students will gain a thorough understanding of the principles of surveying and framework design, emphasizing RPD classifications, component identification, RPD repair techniques, and the requirements for structural integrity and path of insertion essential for collaboration with the dental practitioner. The curriculum concludes with practical demonstration in cast construction, specifically utilizing the altered cast technique for a unilateral distal extension.
