DLBT 2702 Complete Dentures

This course provides fundamental instruction in the fabrication of complete dentures. Students will learn various fabrication methods, including analog, injectable, and digital processes, and will practice arranging a balanced set of anatomical teeth. The curriculum covers the key biological and mechanical factors in denture construction, such as vertical dimension, function, esthetics, and phonetics. The course also includes instruction on relines and denture base repairs. It concludes with the fabrication of a surgical template, giving students comprehensive skills for a range of denture services.
