DLBT 2505 Fixed Prosthodontics I
This course provides fundamental didactic and practical engagement in the fabrication of full-metal single-unit restorations. Students will become acquainted with the various technical and material requirements prescribed by the dentist for restoring lost tooth structure. A primary focus is placed on the use of dies and casts in fixed restorative procedures and the successful execution of soldering techniques. Upon completion, students will demonstrate competence in the knowledge and skill necessary to fabricate all-metal fixed restorations, including identifying type and design principles, and preparing and evaluating casts with removable dies.
