SUR 4460 Vascular Surgery
The purpose of this elective rotation is to provide experience in the field of vascular surgery in both the inpatient and outpatient environment. Students will participate in the preoperative evaluation, diagnosis and management, and operative treatment of vascular disease. Students will master the vascular examination. The goal of the rotation is to expose the student to the field of vascular surgery. The rotation is meant for students interested in either general surgery or primary care specialties.
