PSY 4105 Adolescent Inpatient Psychiatry Elective

This is an inpatient rotation that allows students to explore their interest in Adolescent Psychiatry, as well as learn important developmental influences on adult behavior. Students participate in teaching rounds, conferences, lectures/seminars under the supervision of the Child and Adolescent Faculty, Fellows, and Residents in the evaluation and management of adolescents presenting with behavioral health and family/social difficulties in the inpatient setting. Fourth-year students will be given more responsibility and independence than students on a clerkship-level rotation at this site.

Prep: successful completion of the Clerkship-level rotation
Slots Available/rotation: 1 (one) student/rotation, with some rotations not being available.
