PSY 4430 Forensic Psychiatry Elective
Students will participate in a variety of medical-legal evaluations to include assessments of competency to stand trial, criminal responsibility, and competency to make medical decisions. Didactics will address these issues as well as landmark medical-legal cases and military unique legal and administrative evaluations. 4th year students will be given more responsibility and independence than students on a clerkship-level rotation at this site.

Prep: successful completion of the Clerkship-level rotation
