PSY 4340 Consult/Liaison Psychiatry Elective

The student will join the psychiatry consultation-liaison team providing psychiatric assessment and consultation in the care of the medically ill throughout the Medical Center and Emergency Department. Students will attend daily rounds, teaching conferences, initiate, follow, and complete patient-team consultations with close faculty supervision. Special interests (i.e. HIV, cardiac surgery, oncology, etc.) can be accommodated.

 

Academic Level/Year: Post-Clerkship year
Prep: successful completion of the Clerkship-level rotation
Slots Available/rotation: 1 (one) student/rotation, with some rotations not being available.
