NURS 7131 Psychopharmacology II
This course will teach students about psychopharmacology and its application for the treatment of psychiatric illnesses and mental disorders in individuals of all ages. It will cover medications used as antidepressants, anxiolytics, and hypnotics/wake-promoting agents. Students will also learn to synthesize evidence-based psychopharmacological treatments and apply them to various chronic and acute conditions. Finally, they will gain an understanding of how psychopharmacology can be used to address operational, humanitarian, and homeland defense health risks.
