PSY 4340 Consult/Liaison Psychiatry Elective
The student will join the psychiatry consultation-liaison team providing assessment and consultation in the care of the medically ill throughout the Medical Center and Emergency Department. Students will attend daily rounds, teaching conferences, initiate, follow, and complete patient-team consultations with close faculty supervision. Special interests (i.e. AIDS, cardiac surgery, oncology, etc.) can be accommodated. This rotation allows one student/rotation/site, with some rotations not being available.

Prerequisite
This course can only be taken AFTER completion of the Psychiatry Clerkship (PSY 3200).
