PSY 4490 Neuropsychiatry Elective
This is an inpatient rotation, with some work and meetings on Ward 7E at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, and at the National Intrepid Center of Excellence (NICoE). Students participate in teaching rounds, conferences, lectures/seminars under the supervision of WRNMMC Psychiatry faculty in the evaluation and management of adult patients with neuropsychiatric conditions such as traumatic brain injuries (TBIs) and others. Differential diagnoses and treatment planning will be emphasized. This rotation allows one student/rotation, with some rotations not being available.

Prerequisite
This course can only be taken AFTER completion of the Psychiatry Clerkship (PSY 3200)
