FKA 119 Oral Pathology
This rotation consists of didactic instruction and clinical pathology conferences. Residents throughout both years participate in 30 clinical pathology conferences, in which the resident discusses individual cases in a verbal question-and-answer format. Clinical pathology conferences (CPCs) utilize a problem-oriented model to present diagnosis and treatment of various oral pathologic conditions. Additionally, in the second year, residents will participate in online monthly CPDs. These monthly case-based modules challenge the resident to identify, describe, and propose treatment for commonly found oral anomalies and pathology.
