NURS 5112 Advanced Physiology
This course provides students with the physiologic principles that advanced practice nurses (APRNS) need to know to provide safe and effective care. Topics provide an in-depth understanding of the function and regulation of body systems to maintain homeostasis, and emphasis is placed on the students learning to integrate the structure and function of human systems. The content begins with cellular mechanisms and expands to the major body organ systems, providing a solid foundation for understanding physiologic derangements.
