NURS 5121 Advanced Pathophysiology
This graduate-level pathophysiology course examines how diseases impact physiological processes. Students will study selected diseases across the lifespan, from molecular to systemic levels. The course builds on undergraduate nursing courses and experiences as well as anatomy, physiology, and basic sciences to provide comprehensive understanding of disease processes. The focus is on integrating scientific information and its clinical relevance to advanced nursing and healthcare delivery. Students will learn about current research and evidence-based practices in pathophysiology. The course prepares students for autonomous practice and supports their professional growth in healthcare.
