HCB 2308 Tactical Combat Causality Care
This course prepares students to provide medical care in a tactical combat environment, adhering to Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) guidelines. Students will gain proficiency in applying one-handed and two-handed tourniquets, including improvised and standard junctional tourniquets, and perform wound packing and apply pressure dressings. The course covers the application of pelvic compression devices, both standard and improvised. Students will also learn to transmit 9-Line medical evacuation requests and MIST reports, prepare patients for transport, perform casualty preparation and patient turnover, and demonstrate competency in practical skills assessments.
