NURS 6613 Drugs in Pregnancy & Lactation
This course provides the foundation for advanced practice nurses (APRNs) to understand scientific data on medication use during pre-conception, pregnancy, and lactation. APRN students will critically apply their knowledge of embryology, pathophysiology, and pharmacology to provide safe, quality care in the selection of appropriate treatments, dosage adjustment for prevalent conditions, and patient education.
