NURS 6620 Operational & Medical Readiness in a Changing Global Environment
Advanced practice nurses in the uniformed services require unique preparation to support the readiness of America’s Warfighter and the health and well-being of the military community. This course prepares advanced practice nursing students for their roles in operational and military readiness. The focus is on prevention and management of individuals and populations in routine, deployed, humanitarian and austere environments within the military health system. Current evidence, standards, guidelines, policy issues and readiness skills will be examined within the framework of military systems of care.
