SUR 4530 Sports Orthopedics
The purpose of this elective rotation is to provide fourth-year students with experience in both inpatient and outpatient sports orthopedics. Students master a thorough examination of extremities and the operative management of sports injuries; topics include response to soft tissue injury, fractures, and orthopedic traumatology. The goal of the course is to provide students with the opportunity to experience the specialty in preparation for internship and residency.
